Digitalpro’s electronic prepress department provides the link between your desktop and our pressroom. Here our production personnel prepare your graphic files for digital output. After an initial preflight to check the integrity of your files, adjustments are made to insure accurate image placement, font management, and trapping.

Direct-to-plate technology, also known as computer-to-plate printing, cuts out one entire step involved in traditional printing. This new high quality cutting edge technology has the ability to image metal plates for all of our different press sizes. Direct-to-plate technology has replaced conventional film setting and expensive darkroom processes, and it has rapidly become the method of choice for printing low cost, high quality, full color “CMYK” projects.

 

The match print system integrates with direct-to-plate technology providing our clients with a “state-of-the-art” proofing system. This process enables us to replicate the same high quality output as our presses.
